Powering the 2020 BMW X1 is a 2.0L TwinPower Turbo Inline 4-Cylinder engine that generates 228 horsepower and 258lb-ft of torque. Sending power through an 8-speed automatic transmission, the front wheels drive the SAV forward on X1 sDRIVE28i trim, and still manages to return an EPA-estimated 33MPG on the highway.
