BMW Earns Positive November Sales Results

BMW recently revealed news that the company sold 28,049 new cars and Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs) in the United States during November, scoring a sales increase of 7.1 percent compared to November 2016's results.

The month's stellar performance can be credited in part to sales of the BMW 5 Series, which registered an outstanding 255.4 percent sales improvement compared to last November's results with 4,002 vehicles sold. Additionally, the 3 Series gained 14.2 percent, while the 6 Series increased sales 27.2 percent.

Consumers continued to show great passion for the BMW family of SAVs, with the X4 seeing November sales improve by 33.6 percent, the X6 gaining 31.2 percent, and the X5 returning a positive 17.5 percent.

Bernhard Kuhnt, President and CEO, BMW of North America, remarked in a press release, "November ended in a strong way for us at BMW. This week at the LA Auto Show, we gave everyone a view of what’s to come and now the November sales result has given us the perfect lead-in to what is always the most important sales month of the year, December. The indicators for the coming months give us optimism especially as the popular new X3 is now launching across the U.S., the new 5 Series continues building momentum, and BMW Group electrified vehicles accounted for nearly 6% of sales in November."
